At the initiative of Melinet LLC, in December, 2011, Robert Bosch (BOSCH) German Company’s “Partnership with Vocational and Secondary Vocational Education Institutions” program opened a Resource Center at Vocational College N4 of Yerevan, which is the 12th in the world and and in the primary school N 90 named after Vahan Zatikyan – specialized class on the subject “Technology”. Within the framework of this project, the German company Robert Bosch (BOSCH) has signed cooperation agreements with the Municipality of Yerevan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. The project aims at developing vocational and secondary vocational education and training in Armenia, in particular wood, metal and stone processing, as well as to apply cutting-edge technologies in these fields. Approximately 400 square meters have been renovated and equipped with Bosch power tools, and a classroom has been fitted out. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the German company Robert Bosch, the Mayor of Yerevan, representatives of the RA Ministry of Education and Science, as well as other state officials.
